Forty-eight Indonesian digital artists, including artists and illustrators from Fabula Agency, were challenged to explore the lyrics and deeper meanings behind these traditional songs.
With the theme of a Borneo folk song, I contributed a painting titled Enggang Merista (The Suffering Hornbill), which visualizes the plight of the critically endangered hornbill, the impact of massive hunting, and the importance of hornbill conservation.
